My first ditch riding video

I've filmed lots of different things but never ditch riding.. this was filmed in south central minnesota right outside of mankato on HWY 90 and HWY 83

both are fun local HWY's to ride

it's legal to ride in the ditch in minnesota

and that was a whole road, not a driveway lol

and everything is legal, the only thing that isn't is jumping driveways and roads (but they dont really enforce it)

we can ride on the shoulder if theres an obstruction in the ditch and the shots on the pavement are portions of the ditch we cant ride.. just dont wanna get caught doing wheelies on the pavement, they freak out about that

Nice vid. Man i remember when we could ride down the shoulder of the road in jersey back in the 80's. I miss being able to open it up like that. :D

the roads with no cars are the best cuz u dont have to worry about getting in trouble for jumping roads and driveways

Those ditches became illegal to ride on a few years ago. i use to ride there back in the day but you'll get a ticket know.

Wow I didn't know thanks for the tip. Anything close to those? I'm by white bear lake so going up to northern of southern trails is a ways.

ditch riding is fun. We have trails made to the gas station, resturant, and all our friends houses. The only thing you have to watch out for is drains/pipes.

My friends and i used to do that but at 1 in the morning haha. We would just go wide open down the roads and do a big loop around our small town. Then we go sit on top of my friends hill and watch the cops go by. Its pretty amusing.

ya, night riding is fun. you see a lot of coons, possums, cats ect. if your fast you might be able to make on of them a speed bump

i have been keeping my eyed open for good roads /driveways to jump, but i have not found anything yet, thats looks fun and i want to try it

No, I think all of Washington co. Is off limits so you'd have to go up bye wyoming.

Haha yeah it's happened down here a many of time's we go out at like 12 AM ride the trail's till lik 1:30 then jump on the high way and eat our tire's up haha, But I make it a point not to hit raccons any moore ripped of my front a-arm gurad that lil sumbicth

but do you actually ride in them or just film because in some you state your name as a rider like in the scrambler ones but then in the newer ones there never anyone named peter

those scrambler ones are from a few years ago, i have the KTM so any videos with a ktm and bright gear and it's normally me, a few of my buddies ride ktm's so it's not always easy to tell, we were gonna make a winter riding video this year but theres so much snow now i dont think i can

i live in New Bremen, which is about 45 minutes to an hour south of Lima right next to Grand Lake St. marys
