anybody use a sway bar

I think I've only seen a sway bar mentioned once on this forum, and searching for it, only comes up with a mention for setting up a TT bike.

just wondering if anyone here has used one?

has anyone ever put one on for trail riding?

other than weight, what would any DISadvantages be?

the only disadvantage i would see for trail riding is it wouldn't let your front suspension work "idependently".

id say it benefits mx and tt more than trail riding. i dunno,

Mycousin and I both have sway bars on our quads when we race but for trail riding I usually take mine off but he leaves his on. We hill climb and ride some knarley trails and he has no problem manuvering. I don't really see the reasoning behind using one for trail riding though IMO but doesn't hurt to experiment I guess lol.
