Ok I haven't gotten to ride my 'wheeler yet with the 38 A/S on it, but I have started it a couple times just to set the idle and stink the garage up a bit. I have the DDJ on middle clip, 48 pilot, and 175 main in it right now. Starts up on 1st kick and idles great- seems to be relatively responsive off idle just cracking the gas a bit. (But it's still only on a stand.) When I pull the choke open, the motor doesn't die- the idle rises.

Is this an indication that I need to go up a step on my pilot? I've been using Duncan's jetting recommendations in the past (very helpful), but couldn't find anything about this.

Thanks!!

im not to sure but i think its ok that it does that some else may know about that my tech always tell me to pull the choke in a race if im getting beat but its hard to do that when ride wfo but he doesnt recommend that all the time prolly seize your piston if done to much in a row
