A Arms and Axle Question

Alright, as i've said i currently have stock 400ex a arms on my bike. i want it to be wider, but still keep the stock brakelines. i was thinking +1 400ex arms. can i still use the stock brakelines? and what axle should i get? i want a cheap one, i like the g force. is it any good? any help or pics will be appreciated, thanks!!
