I posted my latest mods in the 400ex forums, but they might apply to others here who might be interested in doing something similar.

ron, those things are bright as hell... looks pretty cool and functional too..

i can't wait to see the 450r carb vs. oem carb shootout findings...

Yeah, they are insanely bright, not bad for $19 bucks at PepBoys.
Tonight I'll try to get another short video of them in the darkness.

I've known 2 different guys, who were killed, and another who was nearly killed, in head-on collisions while out trail riding with their families.
The difference with Trail vs.Track is, on the track, everybody is basically going the same direction. Not necessarily so on the trail, and I have had a few near misses.
I love riding, and have been riding for over 40 years. I'd like to get a few more years of it.

The 450r vs. OEM 400ex Carb Shootout, is tenatively set for next Wed. morning.

It will be very interesting to see the results, and in the end, I will have a perfectly tuned quad, and one of two things is going to happen.

Either a dyno tuned 450r carb will be living under my seat,...
or I will be selling it to the highest bidder.
