Guys in picture 1 is my setup. Running a FMF silencer with
the rubber hanger mounts. Picture 2 is a ESR silencer I was
thinking of trying. I looks like the ESR would mount directly
to the frame. Is this ok, without the rubber mounts? Or does
someone sell the mounts I would need? Thanks.:)

i don't own 1 myself but it looks that you would use 2 mounts like your lower 1

The bottom brackets bolt threads into the frame. Right were the
bracket on the silencer lines up. I won't be able to use that bracket. Do you use rubber mounts? Or are you mounted solid?

I just mounted mine solid to the frame. I used one of the billet spacers that came with my silencer. No problems at all.

Solid mount, I try it. Maybe throw a thin nylon or hard rubber
wash between the frame and bracket. Thanks Guys.

I have my esr silencer mounted solid to the frame with no problems. But like you said prolly a good idea to put some sort of flexible washer between the frame and mount.

I posted a picture of my solid mounted Centermount ESR Pipe. The expansion chamber is not bolted to the frame, only held together by the springs to the exhaust flange and springs to joint the pipe together. The pipe holds in place just fine and is really only held in place by the fitment of the silencer. It's snug, but does allow some give in the expansion chamber. You want some play with these 2-strokers. That is why OEM mounts have rubber in them.

I think you should be find by mounting the silencer directly to the frame.

Good luck.

Thanks for the input. Nice hanger Dan. That really tucks
the silencer up under the subframe nicely. ;)
