hey Guys,
Yes I admit it, I am a very sick man and may need to start calling for Emergency Group Support Meetings soon,...

I thought some of you might like to see what happens when the A.A.D.S. starts to build up a little pressure around here, and it becomes mandatory to release some of that pressure, to avoid a internal meltdown, LOL!

just finished installing a set of Xenon strobes, and driver, to use as anti-collision lights for trail riding.

And Next,.... I also made my own aux. fuel tank to fit nicely under the rear fender. it holds just shy of a 1/2 gallon of fuel. and shold be good for somewhere between 20-30 extra miles.

All ya need now is a portable "STRIPPER POLE" to go along with your lights. Then when you & the MRS take another weekend trip alone you can have a "party" :D  :D

2 nice mods Ron, Did'nt notice but do you have your aux. fuel tied in or is it just mounted to take off incase you need gas?

I wish I had my quad with those lights on it back in the "70s", if you know what I mean !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  LMAO

I wish I had my quad with those lights on it back in the "70s", if you know what I mean !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  LMAO LMAO!, yeah last time out, I tried to talk her into it, but, she said that the bark on the pine trees was too rough to use as a pole...... DAMMIT!

the gas can is actually a throwback from the '70s/80's.
they used to be everywhere , and on every desert bike, as a water bottle,
before the popularity of the Camelbacks, and other backpack style water carriers.

They have a little bracket that mounts onto the crossbar of your handelbars, the bottle rests on the mount and can not slip. then it's simply the velcro strap that keeps in snugged to the mounting bracket.
I just made a custom bracket to bolt the bottle mount to. Then picked up the 2 bolts from the OEM tool kit bracket on the subframe.

(back in the 70's, I seem to remember the walls moved around quite a bit, and the swirling colors danced around on the ceiling alot).
That would be pretty wild to have happening at 45-50 mph out on a set of whoops! LOL!

I was thinking, those lights & a snow storm. " Whoa, look at all the pretty colors". lol

Gotta side with the wife on the tree bark. That would hurt.

looking good, i need to do some sort of brake light mod so i can have a switched light, i have the fastest quad of all my friends and it sucks riding in back cause i dont have a break light. im always on the breaks if im behind, and always on the gas in front. but i almost got t boned and rear ended yesterday because of no break light.

totaly agree with you there muddinguy... these dnr will get you, i was at silver lake yesterday and my friend got stopped by a dnr pulling the quad on the truck with no helmet on and got a ticket. it was parked right behind the truck he moved it 10 feet. and he ran everyones machine and names, at least i know for sure now the guy in alabama i got my quad from didnt sell me a stolen machine:D :grr:

for anyone interested, Here are the strobes I used.
I got them from Pepboys for $19.98

My daughter thought they were pretty cool and she wanted me to put some on her quad too. I havent decided if I'm going to put them both up front, or maybe one up front, and the other on top of her flagpole.
