Help With Amr Cdi!!

i ordered an AMR racing stage 2 CDI for my 400ex. i ordered the 99-04 because my quad is a 2000. i got it today and the connector wont fit! i have no idea what to do. both the stock and this cdi have 6 connectors but the ones on the AMR are turned and are split into 2 sections, one section with 4 and the other with 2..any help would be appreciated

My stock 07 is split 2 and 4

my 2001 is split like that also.

and my buddy's 00 and 02 is the same

You probably have received the wrong part. I have the same CDI on my 2000 and it plugs right in without modify the wiring. The only difference is the box itself is slightly smaller. Contact the seller about it and have it exchanged.

i have the same cdi too and a 2000 model quad and mines split too but they sent me a split one. maybe there is some confusion in the years and like, cause i put mine in and took the stock out, plugs in the same way just a smaller box.
