How to find local races?

Can somebody please help me? Where would I go to find local races? MX and XC. I have looked but still couldn't find a place to help.

try the ama and atva websites.....also ...try bike shops/ dealers. they normally let the tracks promote a race on some sort of bullitin board or a flyer:)

What are their websites? Also how do you find non Ama sanctioned races?

the ama doesnt list one on my ama card:grr

non sanctioned races can be tuff. try finding local tracks and checking out thier bulliten boards...forums...websites etc.

i believe on teh atva site they have a track locator:)

Thanks...I looked through the listings on Atva, but the closest track is like 3 hours away in Wiscsonsin. O well, I'm sure I will find one before spring!

I was just at the site earlier today and I couldn't find the map locator thingy. Im also looking for places to ride. Can someone give me a link to that page where you locate the riding areas? Thanks

Thanks Fred. Also at motocross.com (http://www.motocross.com) They have a track locater so you can check that out if you need to look for tracks.

It's ok. Atleast we have an awesome Indoor areana about 45 mins away. Have you ever heard of the IMX arena?

hey fred the best site to find about racing in wisconsin in www.motobill.com they tell u all the races...right now they have a small schedule but once the sesaon kicks off they will have everhting on it abotu racing in wisconsin
