my clutch cable is becoming frayed and its time to replace before it goes, the problem is i cant decide if i should go oem or aftermarket.

is the aftermarket any stronger or last longer? or are they worse? Anyone have and suggestions?

i always used oem clutch cables no mater what make of bike. in a pinch there is nothing wrong with aftermarket. just my personal preference. also make sure the cable is lubed.

keep your cable lubed at the clutch stay where the end of the cable sits in it starts to bind and thats what can cause a premature wear of your cable

i've always used motion pro cable with no issues.

Same here; I've always replaced mine with Motion Pro. I was surprised how much you get used to dirty cables over time...do yourself a big favor; spend a few bucks and buy a cable luber kit. Every couple of washes, I take the throttle/clutch cable off on one end and shoot the juice thru the other- feel like brand new afterwards!
