Im wanting to paint my rear brake caliper a metallic blue and I was wondering what would happen if I took my brake line loose (the one attached to the caliper itself) b/c I noticed in order to paint the whole thing without getting paint on the brake line connector and that other little black thing that I was going to have to take them off. Will it hurt anything or what will I have to do if I take it off?? Thanks for your help!

it wont hurt anything....you will just have to bleed the rear brake when you are done:)

Yeah I figured I would have to bleed the brakes when put it back on, that aint no problem, but I was just wondering what all I would have to do other than bleed the brakes, or is that all???

jeff....just make sure you really clean that caliper...brake fluid will eat any paint you put on there:p
