LSR axle ?

Just wondering to those who have a LSR axle does yours have any pitting occuring? Cuz mine is kinda starting to pitt what I mean is when you run your fingernail across you can feel little knicks in the chrome, I was understood that these axles are triple plated chrome so why is this occuring? I take great care of my machine so this kinda puzzles me.

Mine did it. I guess its from the rocks and whatever else coming from the front tires.

Hmm guess i'll have to live with it, i've used neverdull on it and it took away some of it but theres still some on but o well.
