FMF and K&N

[One_Bad_400]

got an FMF Power Core IV and K&N with outerwear and dyno-jetkit for my 400ex. What jet should I start out with? with lid on? with lid off? cause I haven't decided which I'm going to do yet. elevation here I believe is around 400 feet or something, so it's not very high

I've run that setup before and you need ta lower the needle clip to the forth notch,,will will raise the needle. Then install a 150 main that should put ya were ya wanna be with the lid on. If ya take it off,,go with a 160 or 155...your set now..:D

Make sure your throttle is adjusted properly too,,so your gettin 100% of cable pull...The factory only opens about 75% of the carb's capablilities when they go out the door...:eek:

thanx Rico, you say that's 4th from the top or from the bottom?

If the needle is pointing down it's the second one starting at the bottom...counting up...:D
