A local shop has installed a dyno and I was wondering if there was anthing that needs done when putting on a mini atv with a cvt on it.

I wasnt sure if you needed to lock the cvt some how?

Also does anyone no the ratios to put into the dyno to get acurate horsepower numbers?

We are going to be putting a 2009 drr50 and a 09 drr90 on it saturday. we are going to used these numbers as base lines and get the carb adjusted in properly.

thank you for any help

i don't know the #'s for the dyno, but i know to get a true reading you need to lock up the variator. i have had mine on the dyno quite a few times to tune the motor in and we locked the variator every time.
