When I go to the channel it says " Comcast, which owns Versus, has forced us to take down the channel because we will not submit to their unfair and outrageous demands."

Damn Money again who cares about people!

Actually the rural area in which I live doesnt have cable ran to it yet. Satelite, home antenna or nothing! Not sure I would use cable anyway my dads cable picture looks like crap and we have the same TV so its not that its the provider. I love my Directv.

i have dish network with the basic package. I just noticed the other day that versus is now showing up in my package. thought maybe it was a free previw or something. since direct dropped it, is dish network now offering it 2 basic package customers? would be sweet to finally have vs. Sux tho no more mx.

Just another reason to switch to Dish. Number one reason, is I have two boxes, and can watch TV on 4 tv's simultaneously....

I just wish I could watch any kind of quad racing on tv. The only video footage I see is here on the good ol internet.

Now I am glad that the Direct TV installers are lazy and full of ****, or at least the ones that we dealt with. We tried to switch to Direct TV, but they came 3 times to install it (3 different installers) and never did a thing.

I'll miss having the races, but I am not going to blame Direct, they have always been good to us.

I never got any ATV racing on any of the channels on my satelite dish .... but damn I'd die if they got rid of the hunting and fishing channels. It's my Saturday morning routine .... wake up , watch a bit of fishing , head to the kitchen makes bacon and eggs, sit down and watch more hunting and fishing... by 10 am I'm ready to continue on with the rest of my day.

Yeah I don't mind the hunting , cuz there's none to be done here in the summer time .... but the fishing ... yeah I scratch my head sometimes. I usually watch it when I'm at home and wishing I was fishing.

Direct TV has been good to me, one of the reasons I got it was for NFL Sunday Ticket. Now they dropped VRS. im in a bit of a pickle now:ermm:

comcast owns vs...comcast is a major cable tv supplier with both satellite providers as it's biggest competitor...

I think there are 5 Penguin games on versus this year, versus has the worst broadcasting for nhl games but I did like watching other teams play during the playoffs ... oh well, looks like i'll be at the bar those nights

I wonder if Versus will put the Loretta Lynn race on their website so the people that have DirectTV can still watch it. I know SPEED puts all of the races on their site after they air on TV. We should all email Versus and tell them to do that for us.

I watched Field of Dreams, and Tin Cup one after the other.

I spent 5+ hours infront of the t.v. thanks to Versus. I don't think I'll last 'til December. :(
