I need to pick your brains a second... I need 8"wheel rings for my EX. I can get good wheels to put them in but I cant find the rings here. I would like to deal wholesale with a manufacturer or distributor. thanx

Call OMF or Champion. I have bought rings from both of them in the past. I had the cool idea to have them made at a local shop (bypass the middle man and get them cheaper). Oops cost twice as much. Expect to pay from $5.00 - $15.00 for them. It is ussually cheaper to sell your rims and buy new with rings already installed.

if you already have the rims have a local fabricator cut and weld the rings for you . i had this done and he only charged me $30 and i guarantee the rings are of equal or maybe even better quality than some of the ones that they have out on the market today. if you buy the rings from omf or whoever you are still going to have to pay someone to weld them onto your rims anyways:devil :blah

I wouldn't continuous weld the rings on. I would stich weld evey couple of inch jumping a round to I have the whole ring completely welded. Letting cool every couple of inchs. If you weld it in one long pass I would think you wrap the wheels from them heats.

i thought wheel rings went on the outside to help hold the tire on??? i guess they go on the rm but i would like the help my tire from comin off the bead.........correct me if i am wrong..........................

OCCRA288

Wheel rings are just to reinforce the rim. Beadlocks hold the tire on.
