Just wondering what everybody carries with them for tools on the trail. I just bought the Tusk Multi folding tool that includes a #2 and #3 Philips, #3 and #6 screwdriver, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm, Allen wrenches, but wanted to know what other wrenches people carry with them on the trail??

Tusk Tool was $6.99 through Rocky Mountain

zip ties are by far the best trailside fix to a popped tie rod end.

When I lived North of Vegas and did a lot of long distance desert rides, I carried my stock tool kit, a tire plug kit, and taped a big can of fix-a-flat to the bumper. I never once had to walk or be towed.

I never leave home without - Tusk Tire Repair Kit - $20 at rocky mountain. Has saved mine and other ridesr butts quite a few times.
Few other tools and as stated before zip ties. You WILL need them some day.

since it's a 400ex, the only thing I add to the stock tools is a leatherman, a flashlight, some zipties, electrical tape, tire plug kit. I havent ever needed to to use ANY of them on my bike.

I also carry a tow rope, and a few beers.
the tow rope is for getting someone else's ride back to camp, and the beer is for me while I'm towing them!

I just picked up 2 of these. One for me and one for my cousin. He is the usual trail mechanic. Ive seen him pull carbs by cell phone light at 2am in the middle of nowhere. Figured this might come in handy sometime.

I have a full roll up tool kit that I picked up from harbor freight for $20. It has wrenches, screwdrivers, 1/4 rachet and sockets and a few pliers, and it rolls up the size of a newspaper. I roll up my tire repair kit inside of it and bungee it to my grab bar.
