post your best atv wrecks, either injuries or the quad itself. this is my sisters knee after her friend popped the clutch on the 400ex. it wheelied and he fell off the back and she got ran over with the chain going through her knee. thats it for the major injuries.

It sucked. This happened in practice but we had a balljoint that didnt quite fit but we made it work for the race. This happened like 3 years ago when I ran the 300 class.

The worst wreck I've ever had was last month at a local fair. I cased a 60ft catapult finish line jump in my 2nd heat. I was the only quad hitting it and I found out why real quick.

I don't have any picture of me doing the jump but I have some of me rolling it the first few laps of practice. Here is the face of it.

And you can see me rolling up on the landing. That thing wasn't forgiving at all. It was short and steep.

I wrekced on this triple 2 years ago at another fair race. Tore my ACL and miniscus and didn't ride for 6 months. I will never race another fair race again. They are not worth the money you can make and I always got hurt.

I just had this screw put in a few weeks ago. I overshot a double, landed flat bottomed and went sideways and wiped out. There goes the rest of the summer :ermm:

I did that...except my lower balljoint snapped upon landing a 55 footer. The end of the A-arm dug into the ground, which instantly flipped me and the quad. Oh yeah, the quad decided to land on me too, pinning me underneath :mad:

Balljoints suck! At least the older style ones do.

i broke my arm last sunday, never crashed just landed wrong. we had to stop riding im in a cast until september 22 ive tried to ride but it doesnt work to well lol

same way here, i thought i broke my hand by hitting something, but the doctor called me back and said while reexamining the xrays, it was already healing, and predicted it was already fractured, and so i realized that i flat landed like 2 weeks before, and it was hurting, and i just fractured it more later. i got a cast until the 14th

this happened monday (the day before school) i nailed him in third comming off of a jump i bent my a-arm and ended up with 14 stiches i was stabed with something on my 450 but we still cant figure out what it was??

I'll save you pictures of my fat belly scar. But a fair race in '98 I ruptured my spleen, the artery to my spleen, tore my colon, and damaged my pancrius. They called my family all in and told them to come see me before surgery because I wasn't going to make it off of the operating table alive. It was a pretty close call I guess. I was out of the hospitol in 8 days and raced again 3 months later.

I finally had to give it up in '02 after scrambling my brain one last good time. Post concussion syndrome is what I'm told I have now, a quarterback or boxers head as it's more commonly known as. I'll be on meds for the lack of spleen and for the PCS for the rest of my life. Yippeeeee!

Top speed crash on pavement broke my neck and lots more. When I woke up I thought I was going to die because all the blood in my mouth and so much pain and not knowing where I was or what was going on didn't even know I crashed my quad! What sucks the most is that I got a herniated lower back disc so I cant lift anything any more. Just lifting a small jack or tool box kills my back now.

Not sure how I got so much blood all over since I was nocked out the whole time. Left side is all speckled and I got it under the seat so my seat must have flew off all I know is it landed on my back 2 times.

Eh' worst crash was probably last year. Came short on a double, cased it, did a jeremy lusk over the bars followed swiftly by my yzf bending me in half the wrong way. Broke T7, T9, L1, and compressed T9-L1.

A few months ago on a riding trip I was going WFO through a grassy field, it dropped off at an angle then it was flat for a few feet and came back up - well I didn't see that and when the quad landed afted the unexpected jump, it was sideways and I kept going staight. I landed on my head and dented my helmet! My buddy (parametic) thought I broke my back...

A few days ago I wrecked my buddies dirt bike (wasn't bad at all, it was just how I landed, with the bike on me....) and I had hurt my rib but I was fine.. I woke up the next morning and I had to go right to the ER - it was hurting sooo badly.

I had to get x-rays and they found out that I had cracked a rib (in the first story) and I had just brused the same rib (in the second one)

I know I havn't ever really been in any back wrecks but thats pretty good I'd say for riding stupid for the past 12 years!!! :blah:
