300ex oil

I filled up my 300ex with oil before I went riding on saturday. We rode for about 4 hours, after I got back I checked the oil and it had went all the way down to the bottom line on the reading stick. Is this normal or could there be a problem? Just wondering if it should be using that much oil. I haven't noticed any signs of a leak anywhere either.

can you smell the oil burning or see a blue cloud of smoke??

No blue smoke, have been smelling something the last couple of times I went riding but didn't really smell like burning oil. But, then again don't really know what burning oil smells like.

it could be a slow leak and youre getting oil ontop of the piston

Is there any way I can check it to make sure?
