So I've got one sitting on my trailer in the driveway right now..... only sad part is , it's not mine. :( My uncles bought one yesturday and needed to use my trailer to pick it up and is storing it here until he finds a place to put it. It's all fiberglass and when done it will be a full blown drag racers . My uncles are looking at putting in a full blown drag engine in it which should push around 1250 HP when done.
I'll try and snap afew pictures of it with my cell phone and post them since my fiancee took my digital camera with her to University for 8 months.
If anyone knows anything about classic street rods , this is the ultimate car. When completly rebuilt and done , this car could easily sell for $80 000

Well I can go hide it somewhere and tellem it was stolen out of the yard . LOL
I have to say though , I got the first ride in it . I had to get in and steer it while they pushed it onto the trailer yesturday . Such an amazing car !!! You sit in it and you have to lean forward to look out the side windows . Such a small car too !!!! If you've ever seen the movie American Graffiti ... or Hot Rod , you'll know what it's all about. :blah:

And that's why I wouldn't drag race one.

I think when they're done , they want it to have the 60's Gasser look going on. Should look pretty sweet. I know they're going to start working on fabricating a rollcage for it. My one uncle is a fabricator and welder by trade and the other uncle is a mechanic by trade , so it should look pretty sick once done.
Having it sitting in my garage is giving me the itch to go out and buy a project . My dad and I have been talking about it , and in 2 weeks were heading down to a big swap meet , so maybe we'll come back with something. :blah:

Yeah ... I think they're going with a blown Hemi in it. One of them knows a guy that has a few sitting in his basement ( ex-drag racer) . They are apparently pushing close to 1600HP , but they de-tune them to 1250HP and are damn near bullet proof.
