I know jetting can differ from engine to engine and is full of variables. Those of you who have experience playing with different needles, which has been your favorite and why?

Provided that nothing else has changed with the motor or overall setup, how close will the main/pilot settings be coming from a 38PJ to a 38PWK A/S?

I bought a used airstriker with a 185main, 60 pilot, and DDJ needle- I believe it is on the 1st or 2nd clip. I had the best luck on my PJ with a 175 main, 48 pilot, and DGH needle on 4th clip. I experimented between 2 or 3 needles before I figured out I needed a leaner pilot. I also have a CEG, CGJ, and whatever needle came stock on a 2000 CR250 airstriker. (I ordered spare parts off the microfische)

My motor is pretty basic: 1988, 67.5mm Wiseco, midrange ported, 195-200psi, 50/50 110 and 92 octane, Techniplate 40:1 mix, Fatty pipe, factory airbox with holes in the lid and a UNI filter.

What kind of difference if any can I expect from the PJ to the A/S?

Thanks guys!!
