motor blow up in less then an hour of hard riding... (i broke the motor in) the piston has pits in it an the plug looks like the piston hit it?.... i was running 93 pump gas an have about 200 comp cold so im guessing its higher when its hot? and the cylinder looks good. i was running 50:1 oil gas. i really should have got some vp but i thought its a new motor one time will not hurt.

200 comp with pump fuel???? Theres your problem... you need to lower the copression or get higher octane fuel.

Also i would NOT suggest mixing at 50:1

get a good oil and run 32:1 or 40:1

also what was your pisoton cylinder wall clearearence?

What did the plug look like?

What jets were you running?

most of the time i go with 32:1. and yeah i thought it was the fuel but i dont think fuel could do all that.. i need to get them pics on here. it looks like the piston it the plug but i dont think it can cuz of the dome

i bet thats chunks of the piston that smashed the plug.

i've run 50:1 for years, that had nothing to do with your problem unless you wasn't jetted for it.

Most people I don't think are running that tight of a state of tune though for corrections in oil ration to make a whole lot of difference.

i know its not the 50:1... i needed race gas i know that but i wanted to ride and the lace i get race gas from was closed...

what i want to know is what hit the plug ill get pics..

i dont think pics are needed anyway, you should be running around 185 comp on premium.
