i got a guy wanting to trade me my 03 400ex for a yfz 450 looks to be a 04 or 05 it has a 480 kit and hmf ehaust stage to jets is this a good idea im wanting to race a little and then just do some trail rides like i said i never owned a yamaha

ask him why he'd want to trade a YFZ for a 300EX, sounds fishy a little bit.

for racing however, the YFZ is a blast.
