gas leak

hey fellas does any one have any idea why my quad would be leaking gas out of the line that runs off the bottom of the bowl all the time? are the fuel tanks pressurized in any way i think my tank might have a crack....is this a possibility? thanks

most likely have crap in the float needle. clean out your carb really well, especially the inlet that attaches to your gas tank. you might want to clean the tank itself. should be good as new then.

thanks guys ill try cleaning the carb tomorrow what is the best way to clean the tank out tho?

drain it first.. then take apart the petcock assembly.. then fill up the tank with kerosene or a small amount of gas.. shake, then empty.

the hose on the bottom of the bowl is a drain tube. turn the screw in on the bowl right beside the tube that will shut the drail. If its coming out of a vent tube then you have a float or needle issue.

i took the floats and needle valve out and cleaned it now its fine so thanks for the help guys

The screw does not shut off the overflow portion.
