Frame question

Found a good deal in 88-89 frame but was wondering if everything on my 86 frame will work on the 88-89 frame.

NO it will not the pegs are dif, and the swingarm. You will have to do some modification for all to work.

Some things won't, pegs(nerfs), pipe(maybe), grab bar, swingarm will with a spacer cut to fit between the gap. I think thats it. I wonder, why go to a 88/89 frame? Your frame damaged? 86-89 frames are very close. The major difference between 86/87 and 88/89 frames is something like a 1/2 degree of rake. Other than that, except for motor mount changes and peg location(which is why most go with -1-1 propegs on 88/89), the frames are nearly the same.

My subframe got shifted over pretty bad.I got in a fight with a big hill climb and it won.LOL

96 percent of things will, i would go for it as 88 frames were better than 86 IMO.
