TC Racing slip on

Looking for a good slip on pipe for my 400 and I am strongly considering a TC Racing slip on for my otherwise stock motor. Do these pipes give good power gains on a stock motor, or should I stick with something like a T-4 or R4 for this motor as I don't plan to mod it other than a pipe and a uni air filter and rejetting.

Any experience or knowledge about this is greatly appreciated. Thanks.:confused:

I have the TC and like it a lot. The Guy I ride with has the full T-4 and I couldn't feel a difference between the 2 and he has a new header! You could also check out the LRD pipe. It's a full system, but priced very well and looks awesome.

The TC is a sweet pipe. I have ridding on a stock 400 with a TC pipe and it had wicked good bottom end. TOp end wasn't any different on top but Bottom was crazy.

Very Loud tho.

I wish he made a Header though. It will look good once I have my Header and Mid-Pipe Hiper Coated. All nice and Ceramic Coated then!

TC is the only way!! And when you polish it up like Warriorman said, it looks sweet!!!!

I got the whole exhaust on the bike this weekend, and man does it look awesome!! I will have pics of the completed bike real soon!!

I need your help guys!!!! What color do I powdercoat my cases??? Red with sparkles, Black with Sparkles, or the polished aluminum looking powdercoat(looks pretty similar to the header in the pic above)??? Here is a pic of my bike for reference The only difference in the bike is the air scoops are also PC'd red now too!!

Chad get a good shot of the Exhaust when it's all put back together. I want to see how good it looks! I think HPC will coat your Cases! You should have them done if they will, that would look awesome!

Yes they will but to have them coat the cases is a bit steap!!! Not only that, there finish holds heat in, which is a very good thing for an exhaust, but not for the cases!!! Im going to leave here in a few minutes to get the cases coated,,,do you think I should do them in red, or the polished look whick looks similar to my header and midpipe??????? I think I have voted black out because black just doesnt stand out enough to me, but im afraid i might have a little to much red ,,what do you think???

Go with the Polished look. If your Cases are Red you will have to much Red. Plus Polished will be Bling! :D

The only thing is the polished powdercoat doesnt look near as shiny as a good chrome like polish job! It shines but not like true polished alum..My wife says i should go red, i kind of like the polished,,,

Chad I'll be gettin my header back from HP coatings this week,,i hope it turns out as good as yours looks in the blurry pic...I just bought a digi cam today so I'll take some pics of it for those of you that wanna see a clear pic of HP coatings work..;)

Whats HP coating? I Just got a TC pipe and need to do soemthing with my headers. THey look horrible.

It's a Ceramic Coating like the Sparks and other Pipes have. Look on page 1 Chad had his header and TC mid-pipe done.

It's a company that deals with high temp coatings.. www.hpcoatings.com It run me right around $55 to have my powerbong coated,,i should get it on wednesday I'll take some clear pics..cough**chad**cough and post them..:D

Trx400 mine went to Oklahoma and it's about a 10 day turn around i guess,,shipping there cost me $6,,but they'll bust your balls on return shipping so watch it..;)
