get the strait from pro x. you pretty much just have to get it from a company such as ct, esr etc etc.

ESR should send you a Wiseco. I've been relying on them more lately. CT seems to send you whatever they get a good deal on.

wossner pistons seam to be forged also, I have 2 of them. I can tell a difference between a pro-x and forged easy.

Aren't wossner only a 1-ring piston? How do they hold up compared to a Wiseco...any comparative data?

the 2 pistons that are in my stumped thread are wossner. they are 2 ring forged and have some sort of coating on the skirt when you get them. they seem to be a good quality piston but between those 2 pistons i only have three laps of practice:mad:

I have a wossner piston in my bike and it seems to be just fine so far. Around 15-20 gallons run through it, no problems. I think it's a moly coating on there.

so where's the best place to get the wossner pistons and how do they compare in price to wiseco?

I beat the hell out of a Wossner 295 flat toped piston at 220lbs compression for 40 or so hours and it came out looking good. The coating was gone right quick though. I'll buy another one for sure.

The guy on the phone did not have a reason why.

funny thing is, when i had neil build my 310, he used wossner, and it was actually cheaper.

it is a 2 ring piston to and you can order them straight from la sleeve, or even neil.i dont see nothing wrong with them.

I HAVE A RESLEEVE IN MINE AND SOMEONE PUT SNAP RINGS IN INSTEAD OF CIRCLIPS AND ONE BROKE AND SCRATCHED THE CYLINDER. BUT I HAVE BEEN LOOKING TO GET A LITTLE BIGGER THAN A 72MM BUT LA SLEEVE JUST OFFERS THE 72MM, UNLESS I JUST DIDNT SEE IT.
