yz426 project is underway....

welll i just got my stock 400ex chassis...sweeet...im goin to build a pimp 426 it may take me a year or two but is going to be so sweet....im going ot need spindles and shock linkage btu everything else is going to be after market... the main part of the project wont start until june when i buy the motor and swingarm...wish me luck

i plan on building for about 2 years..im 16 and right now i dont work...i go to a tech school where im a welder..this summer i make 10 dollars an hour and i plan on getting the engine ans swingarm... that way i can have all year to fab the engine in there correct..then at x-mas time..ill get my a-arms..i know im starting from scratch but i get dealrer cost plus 10% which is a decent deal on OEM parts.. and i know a local shop which im good friends w/ will sponsor me w/ plastics and what every else they have lasying around for an EX

Dang-- 2 hole stinking years. That sorta sucks. You are never gonna get to race it. By the time ya finish it. Honda will have their new quad out and you will want to sell it for a vechile.

But It gonna be pimp when ya done.

By the time you get it done the 426 will be out dated. We have a 450 on order. It's BIG $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Be prepared. We have $20,000 in ours

i know what you guys mean buy big money.. over the summe i would get paid every friday and spend $300 a week on my raptor..i really doubt the 426 will be out dated... if it is there will be a 440 or 450 big bore right at the AMA limit...also if there is a little bigger motor in 2 years i will still have a sweet quad built the way i want. and i did it my self not a bunch of japs..
