Ok so I have some ideas of what i would like to do with my 400 but some other things take me away.
In summer of 2010 I would like to brake down my bike and powercoat some stuff. Can you guys give me an estimated price on it? Here is the list:
4 rims - black
4 hubs - white
Frame - white
subFrame - black
A- arms - black
swingarm - white
Bars - black
Air scoops - black
head pipe - black
Also I will get some new onepeice racing front plastics, 450r shocks, powermad white handguards, and hopefully a 450r carb.
So what do you guys think about that and what would the Price look like? i know it will probably be big. lol
but the other things are, i want to get a little 80 pitbike just to mess around on. and i have to pay my car insurance now that im 16. lol i hope one of these works out...

That is what I would do BUT Pappy's prices are pretty damn good and hard to beat so I would add a bit to your total or to each piece if your not sending to him. Have to remember that if your are sending to him or elsewhere to remember shipping also.

i did the math for you and with pappy it would cost 530 with out shipping head pipe or airscoops as they were not listed good louck i would not imagine them being much though

woah.. 530 isnt that bad.. i was thinkin more like 700 but with the air scoops and the bars that would probably top at 600 right?
What do you guys think about the idea though?

Yea, scoops would prolly be like 30 and bars 25 or so. Pappy usually works with the prices a bit if your sending that much. Then you will have to figure about $45-50 for shipping each way. Does great work. Just finished putting my 400 together that he did alot of stuff on and looks far better than expected. Just today I received some 250r parts back from him that were pretty darn ruff when sent to him and look like new parts only better because the color isnt grey!

I have a couple of local shops that charge about $10 per part for the basic colors. Size didnt matter . If steel they usually hot dip and prep the parts for free. If aluminum I usually sandblast myself. Exotic colors and glow in the dark stuff you can expect to pay into the hundreds for a full chassis with all the suspension and small parts.
