Since most all quad racing is drawing near an end again, what's everyone's plans with their old quads? Full re-build, new powder, keep racing?

I plan on doing some ice racing around St. Louis area and anywhere else I can find. I also plan on tearing it down, new different color for powder, new plastic, arms, shocks, sway bar for FT, and TONS of other stuff... not sure how much of it will get done, but I got goals darn it!!!

OR, trade it for a Honda to make my primary sponsor happy :blah:

I do ride in the winter, just not as much as I used to. When I had my 400ex, I rode no matter what kind of weather. But with my YFZ, I tend to take it easy in sloshy stuff like mud, snow... I do plan on doing some ice racing to help prep for flat track next year, BUT that is only if I keep the quad. I might be going to stock cars... My head isn't totally clear on what I want to do yet.

Fall is here?
90's something degrees?,
riding seasons over?

oh pulleeeaseeee....

today at 3:30 pm it was 102 in my driveway, in the shade, and that was with a slight breeze blowing.
5% humidity, and I'm only 10-12 miles from the beach !

and the riding season is over???
Not around here !!!

I figure it's going to still be a solid month or so, before we can even think about heading out to the trails.

It's been high 90's here the last two days with, I swear, about 95% humidity (you practically need scuba gear to walk around outside). At 6:30 last night I was cooking on the grill and it was still 94°. Today's high 70's and rain but then supposed to be back in the 90's again. And it's been a cooler, rainier summer than normal for us.

Not even a glimmer of it cooling down in AZ. My car showed 119 on my way home from work today at 6pm.

It could cool off a bit and I would be happy.

You people need to come to AZ if you think fall is here. gojk, I see you're in Mesa. Me too.

Unfortunately my quad is 2000 miles away in WI. No plans this year. Last year I widened it out +2+4 with Burgard arms and a G-Force axle.

Yeah Fall is just around the corner ... especially when you wake up and have to scrape the ice off your windshield ( like I've done for the past 2 mornings) . Hunting season is just around the corner , the leaves are starting to change colors a bit and I have have to figure out why the battery in my quad keeps dieing out on me. :grr:

Yup... Leaves are on the ground... not a few here, few there... There are TONS of em down!!! I now keep the AC off and am getting ready to cover it up for good. Time to put the bails out and get ready for the first fall burner... cook out for you chity folk LOL Gonna be a good one this year! I've had about 3 big *** stumps sittin and soakin for about 3 months now. Soaking in what... old oil, diesel, you name it, if it burns, it is on it. (of course these are only my starter logs) We got about a 30/40ft pile ready to go up :D
