yamaha blaster wont rev up, it starts and idles but wont rev

It's probably the cdi box. One of my quads had the same problem, you could start it and it would idle all day but once you hit the throttle it just choked out.

Try taking the exhaust off. My blaster wouldnt rev up cuz my pipe had a nest and a family of dead fried mice.

if its the 2006 blaster in your sig, its probably the parking brake switch. These go bad all the time. Find the wires that go to it and unplug it i think. If that don't work wire them together. I can't remember which it is. When the parking brake is set (or thinks its set) it enables a revlimiter right above idle..
