valve job

Pulled the head off my 400 today and its definetly time for a valve job. I can see daylight around the valves when i look through the ports. The question is should i send it somewhere or is this something that can be done in the garage during the weekend?

take it somewhere. It is usally pretty cheap. There is a guy close to me that will completely rebuild a head for $20.

Make sure to put in new guides (if needed) and seals.

U could send it CT Racing and get 5 angle hi perfromance valve job its like 200 bones but shows a horespower increase!! not a bad deal for getting some maintence done and getting a little bonus all at the same time. :)
