Im not starting a Durablue bash thread here. I just wanted to show what happened to my quad when I came up about a foot short on this big up hill double. This is the 3rd Durablue axle that I have owned and the first to break. This paticular axle is 4yrs old. I wish I had a pic of this big double and you guys could see its a axle destroyer.

The track is West Ky Mx (Lowes). Nothing on this quad is for sale. People tell me all the time that I keep my quad too clean. I like to keep my stuff clean.

Your bike is very clean. Before I saw a pic, when you said the axle was 4 years old, I was thinking it probably had a rough life, but from the looks of your quad, I changed my mind.

Yea, I washed quad before pic was taken. But, the quad wasnt that dirty. The track was dry and dusty. I was at Dry Hill about a month ago. 118 sx, Murray sx, Powerline, Great River Road, 40 acres and 800 mx are some other local tracks that we race at.

Yeah there known to do that. I've always used lsr axles and never had any problems with them.

Post of pic of your fourwheeler, so I know who to wave my flag at. lol. I flag at Murray. I do my racing in between the trees.

Did you buy that axle new? i know if you buy a new lonestar and you break it they will send a free replacement, i thought durablue does this too but i could be wrong.

Durablue has a lifetime warranty and I have to pay for the shipping. That sucks, but it cheaper than $350 for new axle. Chad, I know who you are. I was pitted next to you at GRR a couple months back. Holla next time you see me at races.

yep, Brandons one of my best friends, we hang out every weekend. Kinda weird how that works out. but the question is do you remember me

I'm gonna say your bike kinda looks familiar but the name just ain't clickin. Besides, hard to keep up with everybody's name in XC and harescrambles, then flag at a local track and go to Lorettas and try to keep all the mx guys straight too. Guess I need to start eating my carrots.:blah:

HAHAHA that aint no kidding!!! I seen a kid in B class try to do a heel clicker over a finish line double... His feet got caught on his bars and when he landed... well, you know the results...

As far as broken axles, I never had one do it to me, but once in a while you get one with an air pocket in them. With a few good hard landings they start to let loose. Could have been the case here. Warrenty? Sounds liek RPM time to me... There is also another one out there that is beefy as hell... not sure if it's RPM or Lonestar though
