hmf slip on

I'm getting a hmf slip on and they recommend a 175 main jet. my mods are no airbox lid and k&n with outerwear. read everyone elses jetting questions to me this sounds to big. I'm not sure of my elevation here in va. Someone give me an idea if this jet will work or is it to big and which one should I use

www.topozone.com check elevation. im at like 135 feet. I just got a hmf slip on for myZ400 I talked to (kevin at hmf) on the phone about jetting, and he said I NEED the 170 in it for it to run right. he also said the gncc quads they are building will be running 170 also. I guess im going to try 170...

I'm running a 155 jet with my slip-on HMF. Runs great for here in Va. I have to try the 170 here soon with the correct settings. Power increase was notice in the low to mid range.
