250r dirtbike gimme ur thoughts

i want to put a 250r motor in my bombadier 250 can am frame i thin k it will rip like no tomorow and stand up in every gear u think good or bad thoughts???

it might work but iv never heard of buting a quad angine in a bike just because quads have less hp then bikes do. Alos arent the bottom ends of bikes skinnier than the bottom ends on quads? But hey anyhting is possible if you got a spare r engine why not put it in but if you are going to look for an engine i would try finding a cr 250 engine.

yes the bottom of the dirtbike motor is smaller cause most dont use a big stater to power the lights

ne one got a cheap r motor that needs a top end rebuild or something CHEAP is key but if u have a good motor needs nothing and u just want to get rid of it CHEAP i'll take it

if u have a 250r motor u could sell it and buy alot better bike than a can am that would be a waste, find a cr or yz or rm or kx engine on a older bike and use it:cool: dotn hack up the can am if its nice.....

damn cab ams are bombodies (however you speel it lol) i had achance to buy 2 of them in ok shape that ran for 150 bucks lol
wish i had so i could have learned to ride and beaten the crap out of it then just brought it to the junkyard lol
