Thanx Guys I emailed companys I could & called & left messages that had machines, Going to slowly trick this out, Start with suspension get kid used to riding it, Then going to do engine bore & stroke to get it up to legal 300. Engine builder cant wait to get his hands on this,

Ok guys & nice lady, bought raptor 250 Monday afternoon. Called all the companies you recommended & all were $3800-$4000 otd, called track & trail out of State Collage Pa. they had 6 in stock all blue otd price $2928 Called them at noon time & Iwas home with quad in hand around 5:30pm.
Man what a quad we are very fortunate to leave in the coal region & have lots of place to practice, man is this thing light & fast out of the box. After the 1st day of learning to use the clutch & alot of bouncing around on those rear stock tires(junk by the way)our good friend DUNK gave colt some 8" mx rears and what a HUGE difference. Just ordered a full exhaust from motoworks & that will be enough for the end of the year, but will prob put a houser fox front end. Suspension before motorwork in my opinion.
During winter months My son & our local engine builder are going to build engine shooting for around 38hp enough to tear it up nicely but not have to tear it apart all the time.

Anyone have any hp or dyno charts of engine work they have done??

Thanx for the info guys,

Ken

Congrats!
We dont have alot of steal deals in our state ,all were around 4000.00 but we found one from a local and we know them personally, so that was nice to buy from someone we knew. :)
I am 100% with you on the suspension before motor.. We got lucky because the quads coming with a brand new built motor that hasnt even been rode yet. Not so fond of the race gas part though.lol

I need to find someone who might be willing to take a photo of the front with the plastic off so I can get a good look at the stem and tank area. Our frame is in another state being modified for durability.
