i recently bought a set of long travel shocks and i was wondering if anyone could tell me if they were the tcs shocks or if they are the newer race tech. I know they have recently been rebuilt by race tech but i think they are the older tcs style. Am i correct? Are they that good when valved and sprung correctly?

I know nothing about them really so if anyone has any good info they want to pass on that would be great!

Thanks!

Yes they did. They look just like the TCS shocks on our 04 race bike. My guess is they were old TCS', they were sent in to TCS/Race Tech for rebuilding and the Race Tech sticker got slapped on.

These are the older 20 click TCS/Race Tech shocks

The newer Race Tech shocks are all hi/lo speed compression adj.

So these shocks are decent right for a beginner racer?

Yes as long as they are set up for you weight, riding style, and your quad, then they will be great shocks.
