wireless for laptop

Can anyone tell me how the wireless usb works? I want at@t one but im not sure how the payment is. I heard if you have unlimited internet for your phone it just goes on that and you dont have to pay monthly just for that. If anyone knows please fill me in

You can 'tether' with certain cell phones. I think its ussually frowned upon by ur carrier. But as long as you don't do it much. I just setup my Palm Pre to do that same thing tonight. Google it?
