Does anyone know how to keep the center clutch from spinning while im trying to tightin center clutch lock nut besides buying the special tool

your way better off just buying the $30 tool, i broke a clutch basket on a yfz with the wrong tools. its thin aluminum so dont do it wrong. you can get it on ebay for like $25-35 i got the tusk one and it works great.

It's best to buy the tool because you wont be able to hold it with the amount of torque you have to put on it.

Well IMPACT! All though, only use this 2 take it off. Just hold it with your hand. DO THIS SO YOU HAVE TIME TO BUY YOURSELF A NEW CLUTCH HOLDER SO YOU CAN PUT IT BACK ON WITH IT....!

There are other ways around this with out the holder, but they may do damage... Here is one thats not 2 bad I guess..

Weld 2 old clutch plates together put it on the clutch, put a shop rag between the gears and hammer down.. But like I said there is always a chance for damage.. 80ft/lb....... GOod luck

Yeah I was gonna say that. A nice 1/2 inch impact will do the trick
