pipes and gusset kits.

Welp on my 86 R My pipe is not mounted right. I dont know what kind it is I cant find any markings on it. It is deff not a stocker. The frount had a pice of metal comeing from the frame on to the pipe hanger same with the sincler(sp). Also the end of the header pupe is hittin a guesset on shock mount. I dont know if it is guesseted like that from the factory. I belive it has had a guesset kit put it.The sincler is mounted so low it is hittin the back axle when compressed. Here is a few pics of my pipe. I will get better pics tomaro. Time to call it a night tonight.
Also does any one have pics of a chassis with the guesset points marked?

why is that so low? What you need is the stock part that was on the silencer, to bring it up to the top of sub-frame, This may be part of the reason for the odd pipe mount also. that is way too long also.

Yea but were the muff meets the header pipe it hits a gusset not allowing it to go all the way up. Ill get pics tomaro. This is really pissin me off atm.

the certainly isn't stock, no gussets are needed there.

Besides the pipe mounting problems........lets see a pic and measurements on that swinger and linkage! Looks to me like ya have the wrong year link on the rear! Its sittin awfully low!

To me the scilencer looks to be an old FMF or DG.

That silencer looks like an old LRD Perfomance one that I had.

i believe you are correct. i have one thats similar and has a faint imprint of the old LRD logo

I believe thats a very old LRD silencer. If my memory is correct, I had one around '93 or so.

the back end is sittin low prolly cause the tires are flat. I really do need a new set. And on the pipe hangers. Do they have to have the rubber bushing deal? I really can aford to spend 30 bucks apices on them atm. I was goin to take some 1/4 alum and make some.
