I agree, the 250f bikes are sweet! I bought a CRF450 when they first came out. It had more power than most people can use and more than most tracks call for. The bike just wore me out. I sold it a month later and bought another CR250. My bike days are over but if I did get another it would be a 250f.

supposively the 09 crf 450rs ride like a 250f, but they are efi if your like carbs. but i would kill to get me one of those new 450s.

That might be true for you track guys. But off track, trails, back country. I have both, a well built 270r and a 501r. I love them
both, but the 501r has some much torque. It pulls so hard with
smooth handling. Now maybe the 270 needs a make over (Puma?) :D

I wanted a 250f and iam so glad i went to a 450 instead. I love riding it, on the track and the trails. You never have to worry about hitting rev limiter, or not have enough power for a jump.

The only 250f i like is the yamaha, all the other ones have to many problems
