found this motor on ebay for sale. its a 04 motor but wat is the black cover over the water pump?

Looks like a custom waterpump cover to put it into a Hybrid.

write dude and ask him. i'd like to know that answer also.

and i dont see why he would make a custom water pump cover for a hybrid. they fit fine in hybrid frames just fine with out making custom pieces except motor mounts and such.

this was his answer. "just a billet aftermarket cover"

ok. guess no actually reasons besides looks i guess. motor does look super clean though. how much was he asking for it??

looks very clean to me lol, but u can build a nice motor for less then 2000
