View Full Version : I have a chance to get an 08 KFX450R for $3900-worth it?

I have a chance to pick up a Kawasaki KFX450R that is lightly used for $3900. The quad looks great and is being offered by a dealer. It seems well worth $3900. What do you guys think?

sounds like a pretty good deal its from a dealer so you now there anal bout evrything but hey only time will tell lol

i wouldnt. my buddy had one,it was a heap of crap. no power and all kinds of electrical problems

i am a proud owner of a 400ex, and i say for 3900$ you are crazy if you dont buy-it they are 100% better in evry aspect than a 400ex(exepte reliability) but thats just my 2 cents!!

DO IT FOR SURE.

The KFX450's ergonomics are PERFECT... I fell in love with it as soon as I sat on the thing.. I would give up my 400ex in a heartbeat for one if I had more money:ermm:

i agree about the ergonomics,feels like a dirtbike. thats why my buddy bought it. but that was its only good quality.

They're slow stock, but when uncorked are one of the fastest motors. They put a crappy airbox system on them and very restricted exhaust. Open the lid up, get a decent aftermarket filter and a slip-on, and you're good to go.
