i have been getting a couple backfires and i know its because i have got a couple leaks up at the header. question is what is the best and highest heat range sealant i can get to seal up the exhaust its driving me nuts. ive tried the high temp silicone rvt stuff but it burns out at the header.ive been dealing with this for a year now

any help is appreciated

Weld the header to the adapter.

I have used Ultra Copper RTV with good results but I am using the stock header.

^^ Yep! Weld the header onto the flange. If you decide to change headers/exhausts the flange is around $35.

I have tried just about every exhaust sealer I can get my hands on, and none of them stayed longer than a couple of rides.
