I am looking at buying a 87 250x with a built motor. The motor is not in the quad. It is said to be stroked and also have a 12:1 bored piston (not sure on bore size) my question is wouldn't stroking it and putting a 12:1 piston in it make it have really high compression? It also has a web 240 grind cam. If I get it the first thing I would do is pull the head and cylinder so I could see exactly what I am working with. I believe the top end is from a 300ex but not 100% sure.
