z400 and ex jets?

are the z 400 jets and a ex jets the same? i gatta buy jets from a yami dealer if they have them.

just take your jets with you and they should be able to match them up. i have yami jets in mine and they work fine. if they are kehin jets then they will work from any model. steve

ok i did just that but i was just curious see i have both a z and a ex and i was hoping i didnt need to buy jets but hey.... not to mention the "local" honda dealership is like 45 min away and yami is only about 10 min away. but i needed bigger than i had laying around for the z anyhow. thanks for the reply.

no prob, the pilots will be different most likely cause they are longer (yamaha anyway). tehy still work though. if you do get some pilots get them a size bigger or so and you can change it with the f/a get it back where it needs to be. this is for the added length of the pilot. i am not exactly sure how big of a difference it is with the longer ones so i guess it is just for assurance. if you ask the guy they may know and if they do let me know. lol. steve
