im just looking to sell my quad. its A 2008 DS450 x package with not much ride time. it has the clutch update on it as well. full rossier exhaust and rossier intake kit. id like to think i could get around 5 grand but is that reasonable?

Hard to say, you can buy brand new 08s on ebay for 3900.00 and up.

yeah that sucks. unfortenetly i was not a lucky one who paid 4000 for mine. around here though there arnt those kind of great deals from what iv seen

i've been offered $4800 for mine. i'm gonna wait around a little longer and try to get $5000. i think you could get atleast $4000 for it. i would try hard to sell it local on craigslist & boat, bike & rv trader. i've never had good luck selling anything online. why are you selling yours? i'm selling mine to get a ktm 505sx <3.

i dont want to sell it. i love the thing so much. but its just time. im more into snowmobiling and id like to get a new sled. plus its getting tougher to ride on quads compared to snowmobiles and the fact that my buddies are getting out of quads into sleds so. unfortenetly it has to go. id love to have both but its not in the budget. i would ake 4800 i think. quad has to go for me to get my sled so

dealerships in ma and ny are selling brand new bikes, X's for 4250 and base for 3999

im hopeing for more than 3 grand. lol i mean 4250 then you have setup fees and taxes right? so totd has to be at least 5 grand id say? then doenst a $500 dollar exhaust and $140 dollar intake mean anything or no?

Just a figure I would throw out is $3800 for the quad and I would sell the exhaust and intake seperately.

With the amount of leftovers from all the manufacturers a sport atv isnt worth much right now.

I wont even think about trying to sell a DS right now, people have a bad taste in their mouths w these quads. I'll keep mine and keep the updates going and have the best handling atv out there.

Yea its not just ds's all quads are not going for much right now. Around here there are tons of 08 models around from all manufactures. Like stated ds's are not worth much because of the problems they have had. And aftermarket stuff on your bike doesn't end up raising the value hardly at all, thats why most take it off and ebay it.
