Thanks Dave, but free is cheaper (not being a smart*****), if nothing else I'll just draw up my own @ work on Solidworks. Thanks for the offer though.

Actually I searched "scoops". And got alot . But I remembered the post, so I knew what I was looking for. When I'm looking for stuff, its usually right where I'm looking for it, but I just don't see it.

jb400exxx- what are the measurements on the areas to bend that i have circled in red...how far form where you bend to the edge(yellow arrows)? What is the measurement for the blue arrow? And how far is the 3/8 hole away from the edge at the bottom?

the top one is about 3/4, and the bottom one is 1 inch. and this is the right side scoop if anybody was wondering.

the long yellow one and the blue one are kinda obvious after you start making them.

are you gonna make some scoops? post pics when your done. i originally posted that for JIMMAH. he asked me if i could draw them up for him. i have mine polished to a mirror finish with 2000 grit sandpaper and mothers polish. i think i might try clearcoating them to keep the water spots off them.

Yeah, I may try. I'm gonna try to draw them up on Solidworks, then make a test pattern to check. If I'm successful I'll post pics. Thanks again,
Scott

your welcome. good luck. me and my friend had no problem making them. they really do help. my engine deffinetly runs cooler with them. you can feel the air rushin past your legs.

for the bends it's easy if you just take a cutoff wheel on a dremel, and grind away a little bit where you want to bend. JUST A LITTLE BIT. not a lot. just enough to help you bend it. just cut it with a scroll saw with a metal blade. or a saw zall or however you spell it. or you could use a hacksaw, but that will take longer.
