i was talking with a friend the other day and we got on the subject of him getting a bike but he has a suspended license and isnt sure if he could still get a permit.

if anyone can fill me in quick i'd appreciate it

im located in PA by the way

i think not because my cousin lost his license for 5 years and he had a bike permit but that was also 10 years ago...

and i will bet you my lifes savings he got the permit before he got his license suspended because you are not allowed to operate a vehicle with a suspended license which also means if your cousin had been pulled over on a bike he would have been in troubleeeeeeee. but whatever let your buddy go waste his time at dmv.

just because its a motorcycle doesnt mean you can ride it when you have a suspended license. if you get a motorcycle license then have your regular license suspended, you cant drive/ride anything. its both on the same license.

if its over 49.5ccs.... no of course not

its common sense, you think they would take away your drivers license but let you ride a motorcycle?

when you send your license in it says on the paper you have to surrender ALL licenses and permits. trust me, i know from experience :(
