WORCS Round 6 gears back up after taking a summer pause . We return back to the beautiful wooded State of Washington at Straddleline ORV Park .

Straddliene offers some of the best accomedations for a WORC Sevent including showers, a grandstand and lots of water outlets for cleaning up ATV's at the end of the day.

The big gossip at the track on Thurs. pulling in was if rumor was true if Pro GNCC Chris Borich would be making the voyage to Washington State to give WORCS a try during his summer GNCC break.

One of the un-eventful happenings for this round was the youth riders Carnage. Washington State pulls in some of the largest youth entries, therefore, ALOT of youth riders during practice time.

Can Am's Pro Am rider Dillon Zimmerman is back after a horrific accident at Speedworld earlier in the season. After seeing him ride you would have never known he is still in recovery.

The show stopper of the evening was Pro rider Timmy Shelmans Daughter Allie Shelman aboard her Raptor 250.
Shelman battled between 2nd and 1st place threwout the race.
Allie takes the lead in lap 3 and takes the win!

In the 90 mod class Z-broz Racing's # 8y Brandon Lugan moves up from 2nd position in lap 1 to leading the rest of the race to the #1 slot.

It amazes me everytime I see this boy race. I have watched him race for several years nowin the mini classesand let me tell you...he is going to be one to recon with in the A ranks before long! :macho

Fite leads to the finish line in lap 3 and also held the fastest lap time.

Pro riders do one parade lap,line back up -and then there off!

Nelson woud slip back to 3rd position in lap 2 and held position until a case of bad luck shortly after lap 4 when Nelsone lands himself in a deep water and mud hole.
This ended up putting Nelson way behind and he ends his day in 18th.

This was also a tough day for #7 DATS Kawasaki rider Robbie Mitchell as he too ran into some misfortune right at the begining of the race.
This would be Mitchells first race back since a shoulder injury earlier this spring.

Suzukis Pro GNCC rider Chris Borich makes his way to give WORCS racing a try...

Comes as no surprise to most, Borich quickly grabs the lead in lap 2 and never looks back ,taking the #1 on the Pro race.

Borich also had the fastest lap time in lap 3.

Motoworks Can Am Pro rider #62 Jeremie Warnia turned some heads this round !!
Warnia held a solid 2nd position all the way to the checker .

And finally rounding out the top 5 Pro's was defending WORCS Champion Josh Frederick.
As mentioned before, I think Josh caught us all by surprise when we seen him out the on the Friday practice.:eek2:
Frederick has been spending time at home recovering from horrific injuries at ITP Quad Cross at Glen Helen.

I think I can speak on behalf of everyone that we are very happy to see him back out there,WORCS just doesnt seem the same without him out there.

Congrats on making the top 5 Josh !

In the Pro Am class,
Can Am/Motoworks Dillon Zimmerman moves up from 2nd position at lap 4 and leading for the rest of the race.

Zimmerman also has been healing from a very bad wreck at ITP Quadcross -Speedworld Round.
Zimmerman also is still on the mend and you woudl never know he was injurued by the way he was riding! :eek2:

Well that wraps it up! Sorry the Coverage took abit longer with posting so many riders and I had a very hectic first week back at home.
I know I missed a few classes, but I think I got most of the top 3. Theres just sooo many of you. :p
I didnt get the best shots this round, so I do apoligize. :(

Unfortunately, I will not be attending anymore of the series this year so Im not sure if there will be any re-cap photo coverage posted,but there is always galleries and the Pro race report on the hompage so make sure to watch for those! My sister and I had to take our animal projects to the local fair .We both belong to 4-H and raise swine. All of us will be down at Glen Helen wouldn't miss it. It was a little different not making Straddleline this year. I haven't missed a WORCS race in a couple of year's.Sept can't get here quick enough.

I was at this race! I need to get my quad up and ready to race.. im gonna start racing in worcs series with my buds.
16 hour drive was pretty crazy, but worth it!
also, does anyone by chance have any video of the quadcross/mx track? i want to show the family some of the stuff that they missed..
